Buck Creek Winery

Description

As Indiana’s state capital and its most populous city, Indianapolis is full of attractions such as the Lucas Oil Stadium, the famous St. Elmos Steak House, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and you guessed it – Buck Creek Winery, Indianapolis’ only commercial vineyard. Buck Creek has been growing grapes in Marion County for over 25 years with almost 3,000 grapevines on four and a half acres of land. Although they did not become open to the public until April of 2006, the history of this winery has been flourishing for decades. Buck Creek has won 148 medals at the Indy International Wine Competition over the years as well as many other awards. Seven of those awards were in 2019 alone, including some that are on the wine list for this year: Petite Sirah (double gold), Strawberry (gold), Cabernet Sauvignon (silver), Seyval Blanc (silver), and Vidal Blanc Ice Wine (silver). Take a look at Buck Creek’s wine list and mark down your favorites so you know what to try when you visit our wine tent.
