The Edelweiss Princess Pageant underwent a major overhaul in 2002. Young men became eligible to compete, thus forcing a name change to include the handsome princes. The location moved from the small Historic Hoosier Theater to the spacious Center Stage Showroom at Belterra Casino Resort & Spa. And the scholarship money for first place winners soared to $1,000. This year's event will be held Aug. 5 at 6:30 p.m.
